Develop the skills and knowledge to equip you for work in the creative industries and cultural sector in Aotearoa New Zealand in a range of roles and for further study in Arts and Design.The New Zealand Certificate in Arts and Design (Level 4) Programme aims to enable you to develop the skills and knowledge to produce, analyse and present work in arts and/or design, and to select and apply a range of arts and/or design processes under broad guidance. This qualification is designed primarily for school leavers and for adults who wish to develop introductory skills and experience in arts and/or design. Graduates of this qualification will be able to: Apply fundamental practical, conceptual and research skills in the production of arts, craft and/or design work. Select and apply creative processes, methods and technologies to solve problems in response to a brief. Manage projects/briefs under broad guidance, apply standard work practices, and describe potential education and employment pathways in arts, craft and/or design.
