On this course, you’ll explore the political, social and cultural impacts of media and communication. We’ll take your learning beyond those initial explorations to examine themes on a global scale. This will help you to understand international diversity and develop a sensitive global perspective.Learning a language is integral to this degree because it gives you the key to understanding media texts in their original language. As part of your language learning, you will spend a year abroad. Many of our students say is their course highlight and find that they return more independent and confident, with experiences and skills that make them stand out to future employers. As part of this course you will also undertake a staff-guided studio project throughout all three years of your degree.
