From film authorship and aesthetics to 3D cinema and the relationship between film and tourism, carry out independent research and further develop your abilities to think critically and communicate effectively. Postgraduate study in Film gives you the opportunity to pursue your passion for cinema at an advanced level. You can explore your interests in detail while working with our dynamic researchers to complete a Master of Arts or PhD by thesis (which may include a creative project). If you want to move into the film industry you can apply for the Master of Fine Arts (Creative Practice). This unique one-year qualification is designed to prepare you for work in the film industry as an independent contractor.
