Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Screen Production must have:
a Bachelor degree in an unrelated area (or equivalent) from a recognised university and
a portfolio of screen production or other relevant work which may include documented professional experience or other evidence indicating the applicant's capacity to undertake and benefit from the program, for example, screenwriting samples, films (submitted on DVD or via VIMEO link), details of production or event management experiences. Please note that an applicant who does not hold formal qualifications may be considered for admission on the basis of the portfolio alone and QCA approval is required for admission under this provision. A folio is required to gain entry into this program - please present your portfolio in a digital format. Applicants for Screen Production programs must submit a compilation of films or videos or animations or games on which you have worked. You must clearly state your involvement if you are submitting group work. Your folio can also include your own scripts, storyboards, set design, short stories and still photographs. English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0
OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL
OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)
