You cover a range of topics to develop a career in fashion, including fashion theory, cultures and identity, pattern cutting, draping and textiles development, cycles, trends and forecasting, sustainability, and inclusive fashion design. Taught by experienced industry professionals, you also learn skills to turn your ideas and designs into original and innovative garments, including research, planning and marketing. Working in a dedicated design studio with computer aided design and industry-standard workshop facilities and software, you develop conceptual and technological skills to visualise your design concepts and adopt new ways of thinking. You look at innovate garment construction, creatively manipulating fabric around the body, and working alongside professionals on fashion photoshoots.<br><br>3 years (or 4 with a work placement)
