This is an intensely practical and hands-on study experience, delivered at the world renowned Bond Institute of Health and Sport where youll be working with elite athletes and professional sporting teams who use the Institute's High Performance Training Centre (HPTC) for sport science testing, training and recovery. Youll also gain extensive industry experience via placements and internships with sporting, fitness and education organisations. Focussing on real world learning, this program looks at the basic and applied sciences relating to health, fitness and sports performance at all levels. You can tailor your studies to suit your own interests by choosing electives in subdisciplines such as biomechanics, exercise testing or physiology and biochemistry, or in complementary areas such as entrepreneurship and innovation, sport management or tourism and events management. Thanks to Bond's trimester system, you can complete the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance in just two years and continue on to postgraduate studies in health sciences programs, making this the fastest pathway to careers in physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nutrition and dietetics.
