This course is for people who want to study International Tourism and Hospitality Management BSc (Hons), but don't meet the normal entry requirements. This course can provide an alternative route onto International Tourism and Hospitality Management BSc (Hons) for people with the following situations:
You have relevant industrial experience but lack formal entry qualifications
You have previously studied A Level or equivalent but failed to gain enough UCAS points for entry onto an undergraduate Tourism course
You are returning to education and lack the formal entry qualifications required for an undergraduate Tourism course
You want to refresh your Tourism knowledge and study skills
You must also have GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics and English Language. Equivalent alternative qualifications are also accepted, such as Level 2 Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - you require a minimum score of 6.0 with 5.5 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking

This course is based at the University of Sunderland in London. It mirrors the International Tourism and Hospitality Management course based at Sunderland. Hospitality and tourism were best in the UK for Student Satisfaction according to the Sunday Times University Guide 2014, as well as being best in the UK for teaching quality (National Student Survey 2013). The content of the course reflects our close links with employers, and our teaching emphasises the connections between theories and practice. The University of Sunderland is a member of the Institute of Hospitality's Education Membership. Distinctive features of this course are the core modules ?Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions? and International Hospitality Management. Field trips are an integral part of the course and we regularly invite industry speakers to come to us in Sunderland.
