This two-year course with study abroad develops broad business skills while also offering a specialist pathway in entrepreneurship that starts after the first semester. Specialist modules cover the process and practice of entrepreneurship as well contemporary issues in entrepreneurship. You'll develop your research skills through a dissertation or a master's project. In the second year of this course you'll undertake study in another country. Employers often prefer applicants who have a strong international awareness. Our exchange option will increase your experience and it'll help you stand out from others. There is no requirement to have studied business or entrepreneurship at undergraduate level. The course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was ‘Business School of the Year' at The Times Higher Education Awards 2015.<br><br>By the end of this course you'll be in an excellent position to apply for graduate training schemes and graduate roles or to start your own business. Employers value entrepreneurial skills and are keen to hire graduates with entrepreneurial acumen, particularly for roles in consultancy, sales and marketing. Some employers require completion of a two-year master's degree and this course will meet their requirement. If you decide to start up (or continue) your own business, it's good to know that the combined turnover of our graduates' start-up companies is higher than that of any other UK university. The course could also lead you to a postgraduate research degree such as an MPhil, PhD and Professional Doctorate.
