This one-year (3 term) programme offers successful students guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a range of business and accounting-related degrees at the University of Sunderland. You will study your programme at our Centre located at the heart of the University of Sunderland City campus. The International Year One offers guaranteed progression to Year 2 of the following undergraduate degrees at the University of Sunderland: BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BA (Hons) Business and Financial Management, BA (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management, BA (Hons) Business and Management and BA (Hons) Business and Marketing Management. This programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland, but have a stronger profile than a UFP student. All students who successfully complete the IY1 are guaranteed progression1 to Year 2 of a business-related undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland. This programme is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the UK.
