This degree is designed for those with a drive to succeed in business, with a practical focus, and a flexible structure. Students can choose from a range of majors and elective modules, and will gain a broad range of business skills, as well as specialist skills and work experience in their chosen major. With this major students will develop skills in-store designs, marketing campaigns, customer in-store experiences and creating retail concepts to work in retail management. In their first year, students will complete the eight core modules required for the Applied Management degree. These will give students the important broad skills needed to excel in any area of business.​ In the second year three modules will be specific to retail management: services marketing management or e-commerce, marketing development, and sales and consumer behaviour. Students will also study applied management and select four other modules offered within the Bachelor of Applied Management (these could be part of a second major). In the third year students will study retail marketing and retailing enterprise and management. They will also take a research paper and choose one elective. In the third year students will undertake the co-operative education project.
