Get the skills to become an economic powerhouse. The broad scope of this major equips students with the skills to get the best results out of people and processes. The skills gained allow graduates to plan and implement production efficiencies that translate to what every business needs: a better bottom line.In their first year, students will complete the eight core modules required for the applied management degree. These give students important broad skills they will need to excel in any area of business. Students will take three modules for the operation and production management major in the second year, choose three other modules that can be toward a second major, and two more core modules – Applied Management and Research Methodology. In their third year, students will study two more operation and production management modules and two other modules towards a second major. Students will also apply their skill on work placement with a local business.
