Get started with postgraduate study to excel your career in leadership<br>NMIT offers a Master of Applied Management pathway qualification. The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management is the first 10 months of the 15-month Master of Applied Management. You will complete the four core compulsory courses from the Master of Applied Management, plus four elective courses of your choice.<br>Pre-requisite for Business Analytics courses andor major: To complete these courses, a suitable background in Business Analytics or a related discipline is required.<br>Choose to study the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management without a major or take specific courses to be awarded a major in one of four elective areas.<br>This programme consists of eight courses:<br>Four core courses (see Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management)<br>MGT801 Critical management issues<br>MGT802 Design thinking and innovation management<br>MGT803 Managing in a digital world<br>MGT804 Leadership and managing talent<br>Four 15-credit elective courses or equivalent (see below)<br>Majors<br>Take specific courses to major in one of the following subject areas and find out more by selecting 'Overview of majors' below:<br>Logistics and Supply Chain Management<br>Healthcare Management<br>Business Analytics<br>Aquaculture Management<br>Alternatively, customise your Master with your choice of electives and no designated major. <br>Aims of the programme<br>This programme aims to enable students to enhance their applied management skills and knowledge by focussing on more specific and in-depth aspects of management.
