The Bachelor of Business (Level 7, 180 ECTS) programme is designed to develop knowledge and skills in the area of general business, marketing, accounting and IT that are in demand in the current labour market. In addition, students will benefit from gaining an understanding of the vital role that effective leadership and communication have in business along with acquiring insights into human resource management, economics, innovation and entrepreneurship. Students will also acquire transversal skills such as critical thinking, communication skills, team work, along with numerical and digital literacy. It aims to produce graduates who will be well equipped with the requisite skills required in the variety of occupations now available, and also to fill positions identified as skills shortages in the future.<br><br>Programme objectives<br>Equip students with an understanding of business theories and concepts and an awareness of key business issues and relate these to a wide range of business and industry settings.<br>Enable students to develop practical solutions to a variety of business problems using current techniques and approaches. <br>Provide students with an understanding of the various roles and functions of business within the wider professional, social, economic and cultural environment.<br>Provide students with the opportunity to specialise in a subfield of business learning and increase their knowledge and skills in this specialised area of marketing, accounting, information technology.<br>Develop in students a range of core interpersonal skills, characteristics and attitudes for students to work collectively and individually within a business environment.
