IELTS Test - IELTS 5.5 (academic) overall with no less than 5.0 in any band, or NZCEL 4 (Academic) or equivalent; TOEFL Paper-based Test (pBT) where the test was carried out prior to 1 October 2017 Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) Score of 46 (with a writing score of 14); Cambridge English Examinations - B2 First or B2 First for Schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill; OET - Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests; NZCEL Expiring - Level 4 (General) or (Workplace); Current - Level 4 (General) or (Employment); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36; Language Cert B2 Communicator IESOL (LRWS) with HIGH PASS and no less than Pass in each skill; Trinity ISE - ISE II with no less than merit in any band.

Gain the skills to help a business achieve its operational objectives by applying knowledge and skills in an ethical manner in a bi- and multi-cultural environment; gain specialised knowledge and skills for application in operational roles depending on the strand selected.<br><br>Accounting Strand:<br>Gain the skills and knowledge to be employed in a variety of business entities in accounting roles such as: finance administrator, inventory controller, accounts receivablepayable officer.<br><br>Graduates may also be able to contribute to community groups in volunteer accounting functions.<br><br>Leadership and Management Strand:<br>Gain the skills and knowledge to work or gain employment as a manager leader in roles at an operational level within New Zealand businesses.<br><br>On successful completion of this qualification you will be eligible to move into the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Management (Leadership and Management strand) or Bachelor of Accounting (Accounting strand).<br><br>You will learn how to:<br>apply knowledge of the principles and practices of operations, accounting, salesmarketing, HR, and risk management, to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the entity.<br>contribute in operational contexts to innovation and organisational change within a business entity.<br>develop and maintain operational business relationships with stakeholders for efficient and effective performance of the entity.<br>research and communicate information for efficient and effective performance of the entity.<br>apply problem-solving and decision-making in operational contexts for efficient and effective performance of the entity.<br>manage own and others’ learning and performance within an operational context for efficient and effective performance of the entity.<br>apply professional and ethical behaviour, in a socially and culturally appropriate manner.<br>analyse the impact of internal and external environments on entities.<br>analyse how the origin and nature of the bi-cultural partnership (as embedded in the Treaty of Waitangi) can be applied to business a ctivities and relationships.
