IELTS Test - IELTS 5.5 (academic) overall with no less than 5.0 in any band, or NZCEL 4 (Academic) or equivalent; TOEFL Paper-based Test (pBT) where the test was carried out prior to 1 October 2017 Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) Score of 46 (with a writing score of 14); Cambridge English Examinations - B2 First or B2 First for Schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill; OET - Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests; NZCEL Expiring - Level 4 (General) or (Workplace); Current - Level 4 (General) or (Employment); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36; Language Cert B2 Communicator IESOL (LRWS) with HIGH PASS and no less than Pass in each skill; Trinity ISE - ISE II with no less than merit in any band.

Gain the skills needed to help a business achieve its operational objectives by applying knowledge and skills ethically in a bi- and multi-cultural environment. Specialize in either the Accounting or Leadership and Management strand, each offering tailored knowledge for specific operational roles.Accounting Strand:Acquire the skills and knowledge to be employed in various business entities in accounting roles such as finance administrator, inventory controller, or accounts receivablepayable officer. Graduates may also contribute to community groups in volunteer accounting functions.Leadership and Management Strand:Develop the skills and knowledge to work or gain employment as a manager or leader in operational roles within New Zealand businesses. Successful completion of this qualification allows eligibility to move into the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Management (Leadership and Management strand) or Bachelor of Accounting (Accounting strand).Learning Outcomes:Apply principles and practices of operations, accounting, salesmarketing, HR, and risk management to support the entity’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.Contribute to innovation and organizational change within a business entity in operational contexts.Develop and maintain operational business relationships with stakeholders for efficient and effective entity performance.Research and communicate information for the entity’s efficient and effective performance.Apply problem-solving and decision-making in operational contexts for the entity’s efficient and effective performance.Manage personal and others’ learning and performance in an operational context for the entity’s efficient and effective performance.Apply professional and ethical behavior in a socially and culturally appropriate manner.Analyze the impact of internal and external environments on entities.Analyze how the origin and nature of the bi-cultural partnership, as embedded in the Treaty of Waitangi, can be applied to business activities and relationships.
