If you meet the minimum entry requirement, you may be selected for one of our courses. However, meeting the minimum requirements doesnt guarantee that you will be selected.
You may be offered a place once we have assessed:
your formal academic qualifications and results
if you meet any course prerequisites
your compliance with English language requirements
For some courses, an assessment of your personal capabilities and aptitude is also made.
IELTS - 6.0 (no individual band below 6.0)
TOEFL iBT - 64 (no less than 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 18 in speaking, 21 in writing)

Students will learn how to manage and coordinate people to achieve strategic business objectives. Human resource management includes staff recruitment and selection, employee relations management, staff training, job evaluation, change management and occupational health and safety.<br><br>Drawing on the resource based view which draws attention to how organisations might leverage their workforce to gain competitive advantage, the Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) focuses on HRM as the driver of innovation and high performance in the workplace.<br><br>The HRM major seeks to strike a balance between the need for practical skills and knowledge, and the need to instil in students the theoretical acumen, and conceptual thought and understanding necessary to work in the area of human resource management.<br><br>HRM skills can lead to career opportunities in business administration, education, instructional technology, organisational development, human services, communication, public administration, or within specialist human resources agencies.<br><br>Upon successfully completing the Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) students will be able to:<br><br>Define and integrate theoretical principles applicable to business and apply those principles in a range of practices<br>Systematically review and critically evaluate research from a variety of sources in order to make informed judgements on options for innovatively solving a range of problems that arise in business contexts<br>Formulate creative solutions that are fit for purpose and demonstrate cognisance of the impact of business decisions on the triple bottom line<br>Coherently articulate a line of reasoning demonstrating cultural sensitivity and apply a framework to analyse and offer solutions to ethical dilemmas<br>Communicate a range of business arguments by evaluating and implementing alternative communication strategies as appropriate to the audience<br>Build on and continuously develop the intellectual independence to be critical and reflective learners, cognisant of new technologies<br>Work collaboratively in diverse groups
