Business management is all about the activities associated with running a company, such as controlling, leading, monitoring, organising and planning. This two-year programme will introduce you to the fundamentals of business management and familiarise you with the factors at work in managing a complex 21st-century business. Its overall aim is to ensure that graduates will be professional and competent at a junior or trainee level. You will gain an understanding of the principles and practices of business management and related disciplines, as well as an overview of the main functional areas in business enterprises and an understanding of how each element contributes to overall performance. You'll take general business modules in Year 1 and then special accounting options in Year 2.
