Applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- successful completion of an appropriate NZQF Level 6 or 7 programme, e.g. a business related degree or
- successful completion of MIT Diploma in Supply Chain Management; plus relevant work experience or
- successful completion of MIT Diploma in Shipping and Freight; plus relevant work experience or
- evidence of at least three years' relevant work experience at a senior operational level or equivalent (prospective students may be asked to complete a research essay to show academic ability) or
- students who have attained the age of 20 years and do not hold the minimum entry requirements for a programme will be eligible to be enrolled where their previous educational, work or life experience indicates they have a reasonable likelihood of success. Students who have not attained the age of 20 years and do not hold the required minimum entry requirements for a programme may also be eligible to be enrolled in exceptional circumstances. Such decisions will be made by the Faculty Dean.

IELTS test: Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5; TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT): Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18); Cambridge English Examinations: B2 First, or B2 First for schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill; Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE (Academic) score of 50 with no band score lower than 42.

Fast-track your way to a logistics management job in the supply chain and shipping industry. If you already have work experience or a base qualification in the industry, this advanced logistics management qualification is your stepping stone to better career options. You will build on your existing skills and knowledge in logistics and commercial shipping and learn business analysis and management concepts such as sustainability, resilience, and risk planning, as well as related issues of law. Apply your skills in industry case studies. When you graduate you will be ready for management roles in the areas of supply chain, logistics, freight transport, sustainability, and crises management. There may be some onsite block attendance required.
