This full-time programme leads to the NZ Certificate in Tourism (Level 4) Operations Endorsement. The programme also includes the internationally recognised City & Guilds Diploma in International Tourism. The programme consists of four courses, with the teaching and learning for the C & G Diploma integrated. Students must successfully complete each course with a grade of C- or better averaged across all of the summative assessments in each course in order to be awarded the qualification. First Aid training is included in this programme. In particular the programme is designed to develop skills to be able to: Enhance the customer experience Apply knowledge of tourism workplace operations Apply in-depth knowledge of New Zealand tourism destinations Demonstrate knowledge of tourism business systems and processes Manage first aid in an emergency
