The aim of this programme is to develop graduates who have the skills and knowledge to work as senior operators at a strategic level in the hotel, tourism and travel industries or progress to futher study.<br>On completion of the New Zealand Diploma in Tourism and Travel (Level 6) programme, graduates will have the knowledge and skills to:<br><br>Analyse and evaluate local, national and international tourism operating environments in order to effectively develop and guide strategic business direction in the tourism industry<br>Identify and analyse strategic leadership roles and styles, and the potential impact on change management for a tourism enterprise<br>Develop, analyse and critique tourism business strategic systems and processes that enable the commercial development of a quality visitor experience and contribute to overall sustainable business effectiveness<br>Prepare effective public relations campaigns including multi-media communications for a tourism business development<br>Analyse and propose strategic business models to improve environmental sustainability for a tourism business or tourism business development<br>Develop strategic investment plans for a tourism enterprise
