This full-time 19 week programme leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism [Level 3] with strands in both Visitor Experience and Tourism & Travel. The programme also includes the internationally recognised City & Guilds Certificate in International Tourism. At the completion of the programme, graduates are ready for front line entry level positions in industry, under limited supervision, or further, higher level tourism study. The programme consists of five courses, with the teaching and learning for the C & G Certificate integrated. Students must successfully complete each course with a grade of C- or better averaged across all of the summative assessments in each course in order to be awarded the qualification. Barista training is included in this qualification.
