Open the door to a world of exciting possibilities with this two year Travel & Tourism Management Programme. This premium programme is designed with the aim of a career in tourism management or supervisory positions. In year 1 we start by training you in the many different areas of the industry such as airline, airport, cruise companies, hotel, tourist attractions, travel agency, iSITE and event management. This will provide you with skills and knowledge to make decisions about which area of the industry interests you the most. Year 2 is an exciting year with the course focused on Walt Disney World in the first three weeks and then on five top New Zealand tourism companies. Two study tours are included and students will visit Hobbiton, and Waitomo Adventures in the North Island, and Skyline Skyrides, Real Journeys and AJ Hackett Bungy in the South Island. This gives students the opportunity to meet management and learn about the operational side of these businesses.
