Finance is the study of the management of financial resources, including the internal management of funds within the modern corporation, the external evaluation of securities and loans, the study of financial markets, and international finance. Graduates pursue employment in the areas of corporate finance, investment banking, investment analysis and portfolio management, and bank management.<br><br>All programs of the Dillard College of Business Administration at Midwestern State University are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Low student to faculty ratios enhance teaching effectiveness and allow for individual student attention.<br><br>The finance curriculum at the Dillard College allows students to concentrate in one of two options - Corporate Finance or Investments.<br><br>Training in finance helps prepare students for positions in financial institutions such as banks, savings and loans, credit unions, and insurance companies. They are also prepared for positions as city managers, budget specialists for the state and federal government, as well as purchasing agents and senior buyers for your favorite large department store chains.<br><br>Finance curriculum requirements are based on exposure to areas of general business concerns for a broad business education.
