Applicants holding a bachelor's degree, its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. If admitted, original and official documents will be required before you can register for classes. Official transcripts are required for all U.S. schools attended before processing your application. Transcripts should be sent to the Toulouse Graduate School which will be reviewed and then sent to the academic department for an admission decision. UNT degree program applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency. Minimum TOEFL score requirement is 79 iBT, 213 computer, 550pBT, Minimum IELTS score is 6.0. 3.0 GPA in the undergraduate degree for admission to the Master's program.
You must meet the admission requirements of the graduate school and the following College of Business requirements:

Satisfactory GMAT/GRE scores (limited waivers for UNT students or applicants holding a master's or doctoral degree - visit cob.unt.edu/masters/admission for additional information)
A 600- to 700-word essay about events, experiences and qualifications that distinguish your candidacy
Resume with education and work experience
Two letters of recommendation from professional or academic references

Essay of unique events, life experiences, and qualifications that you feel distinguish your candidacy. Should not exceed 600 to 700 words.
Resume highlighting professional and academic experience
Three (3) letters of recommendation either signed and on letterhead of reviewer or submitted via the recommendation form (downloadable form)
Submit GMAT/GRE scores if required* (Work experience will not be considered in lieu of exam scores.)
Complete interview if required (Business Management Cohort only)
Additional requirements for MBA in Music Business
Applicants without a music degree will be required to demonstrate their involvement and understanding of music and the music industry with examples of their portfolio including recordings, videos, websites, social media, etc. via their resume, cover letter, essay, and other supporting materials upon application to the program. Materials will demonstrate breadth and depth of musical proficiency and preparation.

MBA Applications Should include the following:
The Essay (300-500 words) should describing the student's musical experience, career goals, interests, and reasons for interest in the MBA in Music Business.
A portfolio, website, videos, or other documentation demonstrating evidence of musical activity and experience.
GMAT and GRE information and waivers: Scores may not be more than (5) years old. Recommended scores: GMAT 520-570 or GRE 153 verbal/154 quant. You must request official scores be sent to the Toulouse Graduate School at UNT.
