With a major in management, youll learn how to work collaboratively and lead effectively in today's competitive global marketplace. Classes like the Management Senior Capstone Project Course let you test your business knowledge. Youll spend a semester working through business challenges for an actual client. After weeks of intensive research, group meetings, and client interviews, you'll present your business recommendations to senior-level executives. Youll graduate an innovative, creative, and effective problem solver, who's ready to manage many different types of organizations. And youll have the confidence to lead diverse teams that encompass different cultural, ethical, political, and behavioral perspectives. The Leadership Concentration blends leadership theories with experiential learning. In the classroom, students learn, as a leader, ways to create a positive culture and an engaged workforce, create and lead changes, and lead diverse multi-cultural teams. Outside the classroom, students will participate in leadership experiences provided by the Leadership Journey Program which can be completed over multiple years. Our Leadership Concentration distinguishes itself from other programs in that the leadership theories taught in the classroom and the experiential learning with the Leadership Journey Program are highly integrated to maximize your leadership development.
