The Master of Science in Information Technology and Management (MSITM) is jointly offered by the Department of Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) in the College of Business and the Department of Computer Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (CEECS) in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Designed for highly-motivated individuals with computing and/or managerial background, the MSITM program is a STEM degree program that prepares students for a management career in the area of information technology in business.<br><br>Business Analytics (BA), also known as Business Intelligence (BI), involves information technologies, applications, and practices for collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business data and information. BA allows managers to extract information from the data to make decisions regarding operations, sales and marketing, and research and development of products and services. Business Analytics includes data mining, data analytics, data visualization and OLAP techniques that examine a large amount of data to discover new and valuable information.
