A student may be admitted into the MBA program if he/she holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university regardless of the undergraduate field of study.
Although the MBA curriculum is designed primarily for graduates of a Bachelor of Business Administration program, graduates of other fields of study can enter the MBA program with the 24 hour prerequisite program.
The prerequisite program would include:
Six hours of principles of accounting or three hours of survey of accounting (sophomore level or above),
Three hours of business finance or financial management (junior level or above),
Three hours of statistics (at the junior level or above),
Three hours of principles of marketing (at the junior level or above),
Three hours of micro- economics (sophomore level or above), and
Three hours of organization theory and behavior or principles of management (junior level or above).
Submit the following to the School of Graduate Studies:
The GRE and GMAT testing requirements are no longer required. Students must have a minimum of 2.2 GPA to qualify.
Submit all official transcripts to Graduate Studies offices
2.2 Minimum GPA required
Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)
A score of 550 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 210 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 79 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 6.0 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
A score of 51 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 100 or higher on Duolingo

The MBA is offered by the Rankin College of Business at SAU and is fully accredited by AACSB, International, the premier accrediting body for colleges and schools of business. Fewer than five percent of all business programs worldwide are accredited by AACSB, which indicates the quality of our program.<br><br>Supply chain management is defined as the process of the integration and coordination of the business processes throughout the supply for the purpose of satisfying the ultimate customers of the supply chain. Supply chain management strategies began to emerge in the early 1980s. Walmart and Dell offer examples of successful early adopters of supply chain management strategies: Most business organizations have adopted some form of supply chain management strategy since that time. It is the goal of the MBA/SCM emphasis to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to support organizational efforts to successfully implement supply chain management strategies. Students will be exposed to new knowledge in the following areas: supply chain management strategy, enterprise resource planning systems, RFID technology applications, environmentally sustainable supply chain practices, supply chain cybersecurity, and project management.
