The Hospitality, Resort and Tourism Management program provides dynamic instruction in sync with the regional hospitality industry in the South Carolina Lowcountry and Hilton Head Island. This is achieved through teaching imbued with best practices in education, applied research and service. The department offers its students- a high quality educational experience through excellence in teaching by faculty with real-world experience in the hospitality industry, opportunities to conduct applied research in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industries, work experience in world-class resorts in state and local hospitality and tourism industries.
