The Department of Business helps students gain the knowledge and develop the skills that will prepare them for managing in the global marketplace. These skills include communication, critical and analytic thinking, teamwork, as well as the specific technical skills and functional knowledge associated with each student's major. In addition, students are prepared to develop a sense of ethical and social responsibility as well as an appreciation for and the ability to navigate in the context of global and ethnic diversity.<br><br>A career in business can start sooner than you think with the right education. Our 60-credit Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration can be finished within two years (or less) and will prepare you for the competitive job market by providing you with the basic business competencies and skills necessary to succeed on the job. Once you successfully complete the Associate degree program, you may continue your education by applying for admission to any of the bachelor's degree programs offered by the School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences.
