Our admissions team carefully screens each application to ensure candidates are an optimal fit for the program demands and objectives.
Admission requirements include:

Two years of professional work experience (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
Ability to meet all general university requirements for graduate degree program admission
In good standing with all previously attended colleges and universities
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
Grade point average of 3.0 or better based on upper-division coursework. Applicants with less than a 3.0 with strong work experience may be considered.
Official proof of degree: A notarized copy of the original diploma is required if the degree is not posted on the official transcript

Current resume detailing your chronological professional experience (two years of professional experience required)

Statement of Purpose a one-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a master's degree at Florida International University
Two Recommendation Letters from employers, faculty or professional associates
Minimum scores for the TOEFL are: 80 internet-based, 550 paper-based, and 213 computer-based. Minimum score for the IELTS is 6.5.
