Students whose first language is not English may be required to demonstrate English proficiency by one of the following means:
Proving youre from a country where English is the only official language
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from a country where English is the only official language or from a university at which English is the only official language of instruction
Submitting a qualifying score (220 or higher for computer-based, 80 or higher for internet-based or 550 or higher for paper-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a score of 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
A minimum 520 EBRW rSAT score, 480 Critical Reading SAT score, 20 ACT (English section), or 42 CLT (Verbal Reasoning plus Grammar/Writing)
Presenting a minimum grade of B in both English Composition I and English Composition II, or the equivalent, taken at another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Completion of four years of English in an American high school in the United States

The foodservice industry is the nation's top private employer. If youre business savvy and have a passion for food, our unparalleled program emphasizes design, catering, franchise development, food preparation, cost controls and more. Students will learn skills and best practices to reach full revenue potential as well as managerial and business strategies to optimize operations and staffing. The Restaurant and Foodservice Bachelor of Science degree requires three paid internships where students apply the concepts learned from their professors, all of whom are seasoned experts in the field. Upon graduation, students will have a deep, robust understanding of the Restaurant and Foodservice industry through coursework and hands-on experience.<br><br>Restaurant & Food Service Management (BS) may be completed fully online, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees
