Applicants must have eamed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent). The degree should be in a technical engineering field, physical or computer sciences, mathematics, business, management or education. Admission evaluation will be based on undergraduate cumulative GPA and documented professional work experience. Applicants must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 as an undergraduate in order to be considered for admission to a Florida Tech master's degree program. If a student demonstrates acceptable undergraduate achievement but has subject-specific course deficiencies, the academic department that oversees the program will specify the criteria that must be met to make up for them.

Taken an Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with an earned score of at least 79, an IELTS with an earned score of at least 6.0, an official Florida Tech TOEFL (paper based) with an earned score of at least 550.
