An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year institution in any field with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher Internet-based TOEFL score of 95 or higher, an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited four-year institution in any field with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher We review each applicant’s undergraduate academic record, taking into consideration the difficulty of the curriculum and the scholastic quality of the school attended. Satisfactory GMAT score or waiver The test must have been taken within the past five years. If you score below 550 on your first attempt of the GMAT, you must retake it. If you take it more than once, only the top score is taken into consideration. You may request a waiver if you meet one of the following requirements. Pursuing an accounting concentration with CSU’s College of Business with less than 15 credits from earning an undergraduate degree and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and a GPA of 3.30 or higher in upper-division accounting courses Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited business school with less than 15 credits from earning a degree and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher and a GPA of 3.70 or higher in accounting coursework Earned a graduate degree from a Carnegie Research 1 or Research 2 institution Passed all four parts of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam Have at least five years of full-time work experience in accounting, finance or a STEM-related field, and a cumulative undergraduate GPA in any field of 3.30 or higher Statement of purpose A statement of purpose is a one-page letter addressing 1) why you chose our program, 2) what you hope to do with the knowledge and skills you would learn, and 3) what value you and your background would bring to the program.
