The business human resources diploma program is about finding value in people. Youll learn business basics first - accounting, marketing and computer applications. You'll study labour relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment and training. In your last semester, in-class students will be mentored by people in the industry, in real HR departments. You'll make connections networking with your classmates, professors and HR professionals. Upon completion, you'll have developed a diverse career portfolio for the dynamic HR world.<br>When you graduate from business human resources, youll have completed six of the nine required courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Graduates who meet admission requirements are also eligible for transfer to the Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma where they will have the opportunity to achieve the balance of the CHRP/CHRL credits (three additional credits).<br>Graduates may also have the option to transfer to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) Degree at Fanshawe's Lawrence Kinlin School of Business. This business human resources program is available in a traditional in-class format with September and January admissions or as a fully online (asynchronous) business human resources program, full-time or part-time.<br>Graduates of Fanshawe's Business Human Resources program are prepared for a variety of entry-level positions within any organization's HR department, including HR administration, HR assistant, labour relations assistant, compensation clerk, pension and benefits assistant, payroll clerk, recruiter, training and development assistant.
