Required academic preparation
A diploma or degree in technology, IT/software, business, accounting or finance from a recognized college or university or equivalent.
All teaching within Loyalist College is conducted in English. In order to be successful in a program, skills such as communication, listening, comprehension, and reading and writing must be at a level sufficient to meet the demands of post-secondary studies. All applicants to Loyalist whose first language is not English, or whose previous education was in another language, will be expected to provide an English proficiency assessment for admissions approval.
Require submission of proof of completed degree/diploma in a related field with transcripts
Degree must be second class or above
IELTS (International English Language Test Service) - 6.5 overall with no bands less than 6.0 in each section
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - 84 (iBT internet-based test) with minimums of 21
TOEFL pBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - 560 (paper-based test)
