The financial services sector is fast paced, customer focused and constantly changing. You will learn about financial planning principles, financial products and services, tax and legal implications, risk management techniques, and customer service best practices. This major will provide you with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and technology skills for financial applications. This major was designed to provide pathways to industry, and includes several courses that prepare your for industry certification exams. (Academic requirements may vary from RRC standards) Our partnerships include Investment Funds Institute of Canada and the Insurance Institute of Canada.
