UMass Boston's MS in Finance (MSF) is a 10-course, 30-credit STEM-designated degree program emphasizing investment management & quantitative finance (IMQF). The program teaches advanced financial techniques, students have the opportunity to gain training and exposure in the areas of Fintech, Data science in finance, Risk management, and Quantitative analysis. Students must complete a minimum of 10 courses, including five required finance courses, four finance electives, and the required MSF capstone.
