Fredonia's Finance program offers you a future-focused business education. The program has the prestigious AACSB-accreditation offering excellence in instruction and proactive community service. You will be prepared to plan, manage, and analyze financial and monetary aspects of business enterprises, banking institutions, or other organizations. You will be instructed on principles of accounting, financial instruments, capital planning, funds acquisition, asset and debt management, budgeting, financial analysis, and investments and portfolio management. Fredonia students are supported by faculty with decades of professional experience. Internships are required in Fredonia's program. You can be active in a professional setting as early as your junior year. You can also participate in business clubs as early as your first year. ENACTUS, Fredonia's entrepreneurial student organization, has consistently competed, and won awards, at a national level. Accounting and finance majors participate in a ?Meet the Professional Night? annually where they speak one-on-one with firms and companies about internships and jobs. The American Financial Management Association offers opportunities to manage scholarship funds for the department.
