Widener's AACSB-accredited program provides information professionals with the skills they need for a successful career in tax or financial planning. The classes are taught by full-time faculty along with selected practitioner experts and provide students with a practical look at all the topics required for comprehensive financial planning. Our program goes beyond the topics required for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP?) exam to give practitioners the tools and techniques they need to successfully deal with both individual and business clients. The master of science in taxation and financial planning is registered with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board. As a CFP Board Registered program, our courses satisfy CFP Board's education requirement, allowing graduates to sit for the CFP certification examination.
