With a focus on valuation and asset management, the University of Oregon Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program is ideal for those targeting a coveted career as a financial analystwhether at a sell-side investment firm evaluating specific sectors/industries, a buy-side investment house managing its own funds, an investment bank, or a corporate finance department.<br>The Master of Science in Finance program coordinates with industry partners to design such real-world projects as security analysis, portfolio allocation, risk management, and valuation of corporate investment projects or startups.<br><br>The MSF curriculum totals a minimum of 45 credits, allowing students to complete the degree in 12 months (four quarters).<br><br>The program consists of six core coursesincluding a capstone practicum and a quarterly seminaralong with 13 available electives.
