Accounting students in UTEP’s accredited program learn the theories and procedures necessary for the dynamic array of accounting practice areas, such as public, managerial, tax and government accounting. Students graduate prepared to make meaningful contributions as business professionals in a global economy. The Department offers Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting and in Business Analytics and Information Systems, a Master of Accountancy degree and a Certificate of Accountancy, and participates in the College’s Ph.D. in Business Administration. The College is accredited by AACSB International and the Accounting Unit holds an AACSB Accounting Accreditation, which recognizes the quality of our undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
