The UALR Accounting program provides you a high-quality, practice-orientated education that prepares you for professional careers in public accounting, finance, business and government. Our program fulfills all of the requirements to sit for professional certification exams, such as the CPA exam. The UALR Accounting degree can be earned in the classroom in day or evening classes, or by completing our online classes. Our Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi student organizations sponsor frequent student social and professional events. And with our location in Little Rock, the UALR Accounting program puts you in the heart of the Arkansas business community.Students graduating with a UALR Accounting degree are prepared for professional careers in accounting, finance and banking, business, and government. The program emphasizes the practice of accounting, with coursework that covers every topic area of the CPA exam.The mission of the Department of Accounting is to provide quality educational experiences that enable students to enter and advance within the accounting profession.
