The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in applied accounting is a two-year program designed to prepare you to begin a successful career in the accounting profession and establish a gateway for more advanced degrees. Students who have completed the accounting technician certificate will be able to apply their credits towards the A.A.S. degree in applied accounting.<br><br>You will complete courses that will advance your knowledge of accounting principles, payroll accounting, accounting software systems, income tax, and fund accounting for nonprofits.
