n addition to meeting the regular admission requirements, a non-U.S. applicant whose native language is other than English must submit official scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). English language exam exceptions apply to international applicants who have:

Received a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. or outside the U.S., where English is the country's official language - based on a list of Georgia State University's approved list of countries exempt from submitting a language proficiency exam.
Proof of a U.S. or U.K. degree must accompany the application.

We require TOEFL scores of 90 or higher. To electronically send TOEFL scores to our office, please use the college's TOEFL code number for master's-level programs. We require IELTS scores of 6.5 or higher.
