Admitted students are academically competitive; have successfully held positions of professional responsibility related to the management of IT; and demonstrate qualities of character such as motivation, maturity, tenacity, integrity, ability to work with others, self-reliance, and leadership. Factors such as diversity of perspective and functional expertise outside of IT may also be considered. Have a conferred bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The M.S. in MIT Program accepts students with a wide range of undergraduate majors. Have a minimum of two years of professional work experience (post bachelor’s degree) that includes significant managerial or technical involvement with IT. Demonstrate strong oral and written English language skills. Non-native English speakers may need to submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores. Standardized test scores are not required for admission to the M.S. in MIT Program.
