We prepare students to compete in the global marketplace by helping them develop the global vision to recognize international marketing opportunities, analyze threats from foreign competitors, and develop effective global business strategies. In today's economy, these are needed skills for managers in an increasing number of globally aware companies. To ensure that students have an edge, this program includes focus on cross cultural skills through foreign language and overseas travel requirements. We have designed our International Business program to focus on the grand opportunities and challenges relevant to businesses operating in a complex global marketplace.<br>To develop an edge in addressing such challenges, our program demands of students the same rigor as the world-class companies that employ them. Our students are required to build cross-cultural skills through a minor in a modern language, and to broaden their global understanding through an experience abroad.
