The Master of Science in Technology program is designed to provide students with an advanced level of training and hands-on learning experiences in engineering technology beyond the baccalaureate degree. Focusing on skills like technological innovation, industrial practices, and engineering operation functions, the program prepares students to advance in careers throughout the field in the technology driven industry. The existence of the department within the College of Business and Technology provides our students a unique opportunity to study and learn the business side of engineering projects as well as technical aspects, which provides a holistic view of engineering project management. As such, it creates a strong background for students to be employed as engineering managerial positions.<br><br>The Entrepreneurial Leadership concentration was formed to provide our graduate students with skills that will help them thrive in the global economy of the twenty first century. The purpose of the Entrepreneurial Leadership concentration is to respond to the ever-increasing need for entrepreneurial leadership skills in the commercialization of innovative technology, and to respond to the broader application of entrepreneurial thinking in existing technology based businesses, health care and higher education. This program is designed to provide the innovative, prudent risk-taker with a practical approach for commercializing innovative technology and for creating wealth by finding implementation methods for transforming creative ideas into value producing technology based business models.
