Students who start and run their own businesses enjoy the freedom of being their own boss with unlimited earning potential. This certificate program is for both current and prospective entrepreneurs. It assists students in learning and applying the traits and skills necessary to start, operate, and maintain a successful business. Students choose from a variety of electives, emphasizing either selected business skills or industry-specific expertise. Students may take courses in any sequence. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to develop a business plan, marketing plan, and financial statements for a proposed business.
