Our program's flexibility also allows you to include up to a four-course concentration in computer science, engineering or business so you're ready for advancement in your professional work. Your program will include coursework that will provide you with a solid background in mathematical, numerical and statistical analyses - and valuable experience in modeling and computation. We strive to offer you an individualized plan of study that meets your needs and career goals in each of our three areas of study. Mathematics is the study of shape and form, of numbers and patterns, of concrete examples and abstract generalizations. As a discipline, mathematics is not easy to categorize. We offer a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematical economics (in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Finance). We also offer a Master of Science in applied mathematics.
