The tools and methods of Applied Mathematics are applicable wherever quantitative data is used for strategic decision-making. The Master of Science in Applied Mathematics is designed to provide students with the quantitative background they need in order to apply those tools and methods in business, industry, or government. The program also provides a solid foundation for students interested in pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics. DePaul's Master of Science in Applied Mathematics offers degrees in four areas of concentration: Actuarial Science, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, and Statistics.
