For admission, students are required to submit GRE & TOEFL (if necessary) results, two letters of recommendations, personal statement and transcripts. Applicants are expected to have completed 10 semester-hours of undergraduate calculus (640:151-152 and 640:251 if taken at Rutgers, or equivalent), a senior-level rigorous statistical methods course (960:401 or 960:484 if taken at Rutgers, or equivalent), and a course in linear algebra (640:250 if taken at Rutgers, or equivalent).
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The minimum TOEFL scores are 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based).
The minimum IBT internet-based TOEFL scores: writing 22, speaking 23, reading 21, listening 17.
An acceptable IELTS score is bandwidth 7.
Official transcripts must be sent directly to the graduate admissions office at the time of applying.
